What “Service Recommended” means

macOS shows Service Recommended when your battery’s maximum capacity has dropped significantly or the battery reports a fault. You can check it in System Settings → Battery → Battery Health. The cycle count and maximum capacity tell us how worn it is.

How we replace MacBook batteries

MacBook batteries are glued into the top case. We remove the old cells carefully, clean the adhesive, fit the new battery and calibrate it, then check charging, temperatures and battery health before you pick it up.
