Fast laptop repair near UC Berkeley

Your laptop is your office, your classroom and your entertainment. When it breaks, you need it back fast. We stock common parts, diagnose on the spot during business hours and give you a clear quote before any work begins.

Spilled something? Do this now.

  1. Power it off immediately and unplug the charger. Don’t wait for it to “dry out.”
  2. Don’t turn it back on to check. Current running through liquid causes the real damage.
  3. Skip the rice. It doesn’t remove corrosive residue from the board.
  4. Bring it in the same day. Our trained technicians perform chemical cleaning of the logic board to salvage components and your data. Liquid cleaning starts at $150.

Repair or replace?

We’ll tell you honestly. If a repair costs more than the laptop is worth, we’ll say so and help you choose a replacement or move your data to a new machine. Read our repair-or-replace guide.

FAQ

Questions? Answers.

Still stuck? Call (510) 705-1915 and a technician will pick up.

How much does laptop screen replacement cost?
Screen prices depend on the model and panel type. Labor is covered by our $89 flat in-store rate and we quote the part before ordering. Bring it in or call with your model number for a quick estimate.
Can you replace my laptop battery?
Yes, for nearly every laptop brand, including models with glued-in batteries. A new battery can make an older laptop feel new again.
My laptop won’t charge. Is it the charger or the laptop?
Sometimes the adapter, often a worn DC jack or USB-C port, occasionally the motherboard. We test each one so you only pay for what’s actually broken.
Do you repair laptops for UC Berkeley students?
Constantly, and students get 10% off. We’re a short walk from campus on Fulton Street.
